Trisha's Pies

To date the best pies Gadget and the F3 boys have had come from Trisha's pies. Our main location for this is in Kilbirnie where we purchase our most excellant pies and then cycle off to the beach at Lyall Bay where we consume these great pies and discuss the merits of each.

Personally I have tried Steak and cheese, steak and Mushroom, Steak and Kidney, pepper steak and at a weak moment when one of the boys was having posh thoughts (or thinking of Posh Spice - dont know) we tried the Chicken, Apricot and Brie Pie. I would thoroughly recommend any of the ones above that contained steak and particularly the pepper steak Pie.

Trisha's also make 2 sizes of pies although its only socially acceptable to eat the Extra large one , I think the standard size must just be for samples at Pie conferences. (wonder where they are held).

Trisha's also has a shop on Cambridge Terrace in Wellington, conveniently located near the Tasting room and Domino's Pizza (within a couple of hundred metres you can get everything required to sustain life). It has also been noted that you can buy Trisha's Pies at the NYC Coffee shop on Featherston St although these are the standard size ones - presumable because the XL ones dont fit into their warmer.
